Advocate Lekolota Abram Makua

Advocate Makua was admitted as advocate in 2009 and he is based in Sandton, Johannesburg. He is a member of the Johannesburg Society of Advocates and Polokwane Society of Advocates. He specializes in medical malpractice and labour law litigation and further areas of interest are commercial and constitutional litigation.

He served as a public prosecutor from 1990 until he was appointed as one of the first executive managers in the public service in 1995. While in government he also served as a Nehawu shop steward responsible for coordination and establishment of Nehawu’s Senior Managers Forum.

He served as National Legal Officer of Numsa, representing workers in disciplinary hearings, arbitrations, and the Labour Courts. Adv Makua holds a postgraduate diploma in Labour Law, BJuris, LLB, LLM degrees and Masters degree in Policy Studies.
