Dr Tshepo Feela is a passionate academic and entrepreneur. His academic career started with a BSc in Astrophysics followed by a BCom in accounting, Adv Diploma in accounting, MBL and a Phd in mathematical economics. He has several published papers and has spent several years lecturing economics in countries such as Switzerland, Latvia, France, Germany and Norway. He is the president of ASRA, a research institution dedicated to solving economic issues of Africa through academia. Tshepo is currently pursuing a Post Doctorate and continues to consult with the private sector.

As an entrepreneur, he is the co-founder of Diversifex, an industrial equipment rental company. He has led the company as the CEO for several years and has grown the entity into a group of companies including Diversifex IT, Diversifex Properties and Diversifex Investments. He has taken the company from a zero turnover with no assets to a large business, multimillion structure with over R60 million in assets. He is also the co-founder, executive Chairman and president of the board of SITS Equipment Group that manufactures industrial equipment and is the only such kind of company in Africa. Tshepo serves on several boards in private and public sector.
