Ms Nomdo has been the leader of Resources Aimed at the Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect (RAPCAN) for more than 6 years. She is an active member and innovation team leader in the Leadership and Innovation Network for Collaboration in the Children’s Sector (LINC).

She is an activist with a passion for children’s protection and participation rights realisation in South Africa. Internationally, she is recognised as an expert in children’s participation in governance – training children to monitor government budgets from a rights approach - having presented her work to global forums for example in India with the HAQ Center for Children’s rights.

She holds a Bachelor of Information Sciences and Master of Arts degrees.
